Love to Host Series of Town Hall Meetings during Month of March
DETROIT — State Rep. Leslie Love (D-Detroit) is announcing that she will host a series of town hall meetings to discuss important issues with her constituents. The March 6 O’clock Series will feature 90-minute meetings starting at 6 p.m. every Monday in March. The first event will take place Monday, March 6, at the Redford Township District Library, 25320 W. Six Mile Road in Redford Township, and discuss the latest developments in the Flint water crisis. Love’s special guests for the event will be state Rep. Sheldon Neeley (D-Flint) and Lance Binoniemi, vice president of government affairs at the Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association.
“Most people are aware that the Flint water crisis is ongoing, but not many people know what has been happening on the ground in Flint and what the next steps will be,” Love said. “I look forward to discussing the latest developments in this ordeal, including a report on the state of Michigan’s infrastructure.”
